Really that's all that matters - scoreboard.
Look - we can let the GOP and the hands-on election folks dig through the specifics of the details about how close it was in this district, and how narrow the margin of the demographics in that district and make effective tactics changes in the campaigns in two years. Telling each other how close the losses are this time is poor sportsmanship on our part. We lost. After twelve years in which we could DO SOMETHING to demonstrate to other citizens that we can make the country better, it dissolved into how each member could do something for themselves. Screwing around until election season and THEN getting back on message is a jackass move. Say what you will do and then DO IT. Santorum and Steele hurt the most - especially when you look at their opponents. But remember, I am here in California, where Jerry Brown just won again, as well as Geramendi - sometimes I just cannot fathom the mindlessness of our citizenry.
